Ten percent of the sales value of IPods and twenty percent of the sales value of Television contribute to the profits of Jamshedpur Electronics. How much profit did the company earn in the month of January from Bistupur and Kadma together, from the two products combined?

Percentages of 10 and 20 are easier to handle as the fractions $\frac{1}{10}$ and $\frac{1}{5}$, so let's work this out with fractions and take the IPods figure first this time, to show the two orderings give the same result.
January IPods sales from Bistupur and Kadma: $15750 + 6300 = 22050$. Ten percent of this is $\frac{1}{10}$ of $22050 = 2205$.
