Step 1: Define Statute Law.
Statute Law refers to formal, written laws that are systematically codified and enacted through a deliberate legislative procedure, as opposed to common law or case law.
Step 2: Identify who creates Statute Law.
Statutes are created exclusively by a Parliament or a constitutionally recognised legislative body such as State Assemblies in India.
Step 3: Eliminate wrong options.
The Supreme Court and High Courts create precedent (case law), not statutes. "Legal Institutions" is too vague and does not have law-making authority.
