India's Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2014 was Kailash Satyarthi.
He shared the prize with Malala Yousafzai that year. Satyarthi has spent decades campaigning against child labour and rescuing children forced into exploitative work.
Through his organisation Bachpan Bachao Andolan, he pushed for stronger laws and awareness around child rights, and this lifelong effort earned him the Nobel Peace Prize.
