Vedanta Philosophy emphasizes the unity of the individual soul (Atman) and the universal reality (Brahman), forming the basis of much of Indian spiritual thought.
Badarayan, also known as Vyasa, founded Vedanta Philosophy. He is credited with composing the Brahma Sutras (Vedanta Sutras), which systematize the philosophical teachings of the Upanishads. Vedanta, meaning ”end of the Vedas,” focuses on Brahman (ultimate reality) and Moksha (liberation of the soul). Although Shankaracharya later provided significant interpretations, Badarayan authored the foundational text.
