• Small cell carcinoma - neuroendocrine; often TTF-1 positive too, but the morphology and the classic single-best teaching answer point to adenocarcinoma.
• Carcinoid - low-grade neuroendocrine tumour, marked by chromogranin/synaptophysin, generally TTF-1 negative.
Resolution.
