Insulating materials are selected according to their safe operating temperature limits.
Glass wool, a fibrous insulator made from glass fibers, offers excellent thermal resistance and can safely function between approximately \(-200^\circ C\) and \(150^\circ C\).
Its applications include building insulation, refrigeration piping, and air conditioning ducts.
While PUF (Polyurethane Foam) is suitable for low temperatures, its upper limit is typically around \(100^\circ C\).
Cellulose insulation, primarily used in buildings, cannot withstand very low temperatures such as \(-200^\circ C\).
Thermocol (expanded polystyrene) provides thermal insulation but is not suitable for such a broad temperature spectrum.
Consequently, Glass wool is the optimal selection for this specified temperature range.
