The rapid evaporation of acetone on skin absorbs heat, resulting in a cooling sensation.
Conversely, ice plants utilize mechanical refrigeration (compressors, condensers) to produce ice and do not depend on simple air evaporation.
Consequently, an ice plant does not employ the principle of evaporative cooling in this context.
