PARAKH is an acronym for Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development.
It is a national assessment centre proposed by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The primary objective of PARAKH is to set norms, standards, and guidelines for student assessment and evaluation for all recognized school boards of India.
PARAKH has been set up as a constituent unit of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
Therefore, it is an initiative by NCERT.
