Vegetative Propagation is an asexual reproduction technique. New plants develop from vegetative parts (roots, stems, leaves) without using seeds.
Vegetative Propagation Methods:
1. For Roses:
- Cutting: A stem or branch from a healthy rose plant is placed in soil or water. Roots form, leading to a new rose plant.
2. For Jasmine:
- Layering: A low jasmine branch is bent and buried in soil. Roots grow from the buried section, creating a new plant.
These methods often propagate plants with desired characteristics.
