Step 4: Agriculture and skills.
Support for horticulture, fisheries and animal husbandry, along with vocational training for rural youth, raises both farm income and general employability.
Hence, through MGNREGA, self-employment schemes, rural infrastructure projects and skill training, the government has made a broad effort to boost rural employment.
